Originality, rigour and soundness of the hypothesis and plan.
Potential impact
Relevance to patients and to progress against cancer.
Feasibility
Fit of the plan, timeline and resources.
Team and environment
Capacity of the researcher and i3S to deliver the project.
Selection is made by the i3S committee, on merit. The grant’s management does not interfere with the scientific assessment.

An independent scientific committee at i3S reviews the applications and selects the projects on merit.
